When would be the best time to complete the assessment and debrief process with Claritate?

Whether you’re at a crossroads in your current job, wondering which course to invest your time and energy in, or looking for some general direction as to where you’re going to get the most success and satisfaction, it’s always a great time to get some clarity.

I’ve been working for years, but I’m not sure if my chosen career best aligns to my thinking preferences; is this assessment and debrief available for me too?

Absolutely, this assessment can be just as useful for you as for your child. If you’re interested to understand your thinking preferences for the purposes of career choice, you can also complete the same assessment and debrief process.

What is a validated psychometric tool, and is HBDI validated?

A validated psychometric tool is one which has a clear relationship between the assessment and what it intends to measure. The HBDI tool is validated, so you can have confidence that the assessment is reliable and can provide a level of self awareness for you in your preferences for thinking, communicating, problem solving and decision making. Ongoing research continues to reinforce the validity of the theory underpinning the HBDI and research in the field of neuroscience.

What is the difference between this assessment and other assessments, such as verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning, or personality tests?

You may have completed other tests or assessments yourself, some of which measure cognitive ability (such as verbal or numerical reasoning), or personality tests. The HBDI does not measure intelligence, personality or capability; it is focused on identifying thinking preferences only. The assessment cannot be passed or failed, and there is no right or wrong profile.

Who will be conducting the debrief?

Our team of Certified Practitioners possess years of business and life experience, with most being deeply experienced in human resources, organisational development or leadership. You can have confidence that your debriefing practitioner will bring significant value to your debrief and provide valuable insights for you.

Can this assessment be used for any other purposes, either at work or at home?

Yes, it can. The HBDI assessment can be used for pairs (business partners, work colleagues or personal partners such as spouses). It can also be used in team settings, either for work teams, or for families. If you are interested in pairs or teams assessments, please email hello@claritate.com.au

What value will a participant get from completing this process?

By completing the assessment and debrief, you will achieve deeper self awareness and insights into how your thinking preferences shape your communication, problem solving and decision making. In doing so, you’ll be in a position to make more confident decisions about your studies or career choices, potentially saving tens of thousands of dollars in HELP fees or experiencing delayed career pathing in a profession which isn’t fulfilling. Your investment is a small one in comparison to the potential costs of not having clarity of your pathway to purpose.
